Fayum Court # 192, Daughter of Isis (DOI) began it's existence on May 15, 1982 at the Douglass Community Center, Manhattan, Kansas under a Special Dispensation issued by Imperial Court, Daughter of Isis which is known as a UD Court in order to establish this court as a part of Imperial Court, DOI. They met every 3rd Satursday of the month conducting meetings, participating in fundraisers and building their court.  In August of 1983, they received their official Charter at the Imperial Session in St. Louis, MO which now allowed them to work as an official constituent court.  This charter was then brought back to the local court in Manhattan, Kansas.  It was presented on September 17, 1983 and on December 17, 1983 they held their first official elections.  This court has been in existence as of  2006 for 24 years.  On December 18, 2004, author Viranda Slappy was elected to served as the Illustrious Commandress of Fayum Court # 192, Manhattan, Kansas.  She was reelected to continue to served on December 17, 2005.  She served as the Illustrious Commandress until 2006.  She was appointed as the Imperial Deputy of the Oasis, for Fayum Court #192 from 2006 thru 2013.  Author, Illustrious Commandress Viranda Slappy of Fayum Court #192 moments of laughters and fun activity events.

Desert Conference was held in Junction City at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in October of 2005.  Illustrious Commandress Viranda Slappy presents Imperial Deputy of the Desert of Kansas Rosie Webb with a money tree gift from Fayum Court #192 expressing fraternity love and graditude for her outstanding support.
